The Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Faculty of Nursing SGT University celebrated "World Hand Hygiene Day" on 9 May 2023 for the students and Housekeeping staff of Middle Public School, Debarkhana Badli, Gurugram, Haryana.

The following activities were conducted :

• Role play: Importance of Hand hygiene by GNM I Year students(10 students).
• Demonstration of Hand washing technique: BSc Nursing III Year students(5 students)

The program was organized under the guidance of Prof (Dr) Pity Koul, Dean, Faculty of Nursing, and Prof (Dr) Akoijam Mamata Devi, Head of the Department, Obstetrics and Gynaecology Nursing, Faculty of Nursing, and was coordinated by Ms. Mamta A Warrior, PG Tutor, Obstetrics and Gynaecology Nursing, Faculty of Nursing.

The Roleplay was organized with the aim to spread awareness among the students and staff about the maintenance of Hand Hygiene.

Demonstration of Hand washing technique was done by BSc Nursing III Year students to all the students(80) and staff(12) of the school.

The school officiating Principal Narendra Khatri and Headmaster Narendra Kumar acknowledged and appreciated the efforts of the team for motivating the staff and students with the interactive role-play.
