Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences (BNYS) is a medical graduation program in Naturopathy and Yoga. The total tenure of the program is 5 & ½ Years (including 4 & ½ Years of academic training and 1 Year of compulsory rotatory internship program as 365 days). This is a purpose-built medical graduation course amalgamating the command of West (contemporary medicine) & lore of East (traditional medicine). Succeeding the course, graduates would be awarded “Doctors” degree. Following the degree, graduates are eligible to practice independently. Eligibility of the same is a pass in 12th Physics, Chemistry and Biology with an aggregate of 50%. Naturopathy is a natural means of intervening and intercepting disease. The non-invasive treatment of naturopathy favors a holistic approach that fortifies minimal use of drugs and surgery. Naturopathy aims to increase the buoyancy of patients, so that they can dissipate ailments by means of there own self-healing mechanism, known since centuries to the man kind. The success of this system is based on the attribute that they concentrate on prevention of disease rather than cure. Yoga is an ancient discipline designed to bring balance and health to the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual domain of the individual. Yogic science helps us to achieve a sound mind, thereby a sound body ultimately paving way to good health. Yoga is itself a science with strong rationale with a systematic set of techniques. Yoga comprises several different branches each with its own unique focus. The therapeutic aspect of Yoga is taken into consideration to uproot ailments and sufferings in physical and psychological dimensions.
