DASHMESH EDUCATIONAL CHARITABLE TRUST (DECT) was constituted in 1999 as a public charitable trust and is registered under section 12A of the Income Tax Act 1961, aiming to achieve sustainable development and higher growth rates at the national level with a higher education system. The Trust’s constant endeavor is to encourage the higher/Technical education system and research and development activities in a concerted effort aimed at nation-building. It encourages Higher Educational Institutions (HEI) for research and development activities aimed at nation-building.

“DECT” and its management believe in providing a proper impetus to Higher Educational Institutions (HEI) in producing competent professionals like doctors, pharmacists, engineers, and managers, encouraging them to think beyond the curriculum while imparting training for the advancement of knowledge.

With an emphasis on “Access to Quality” and “Education to All,” the Management and Board of Trustee of “DECT” has created a thrust for quality in professional education. It has established the University to cater to the needs of the country in the field of Higher/Technical education in the NCR area Particularly, Delhi & Haryana.

Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary (SGT) University is a unit of “DECT”, with the avowed objective of spreading the message of Shree Guru Gobind Singh that the highest service is rendered by spreading knowledge. Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University (SGT University) was established in 2013 under the Haryana Private Universities Act 2006. The University has 18 Faculties, teaching medical and non-medical curriculums with 170+ courses, housed in the sprawling campus of 70 acres. The teaching general hospital is an 810 bedded facility attached to the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences. It has good infrastructure to impart quality medical and non-medical education to students. It also has adequate research facilities in its premises to fulfill its objectives.
