Dr. Nidhi Mehta holds the position of Associate Professor in the clinical psychology department at SGT University in Haryana, Gurugram,. She has also spent seven years working at Amity University in Haryana, Gurugram, in the clinical psychology department. She graduated from RINPAS, Kanke, Ranchi, India, with an M.Phil. and Ph.D in clinical psychology. The Ph.D. theses was on Development of Module for empowering adolescents for emotion regulation under the guidance of Dr. Masroor Jahan, Additional Professor, RINPAS. She is primarily interested in studying child and adolescent psychology with an emphasis on mental health issues, as well as disabilities, HIV, gender and violence, and abuse of children. She has spoken at conferences both in India and beyond on a variety of research papers. In 2015, she presented a paper at the Third Asia-Pacific Community-Based Rehabilitation (CBR) Congress in Tokyo, Japan. She collaborates with various non-governmental organizations and has served as a consultant for the ORGI's National Health Survey and the Directorate of Census Operations, Jharkhand, on a number of initiatives.
