‘Spread of knowledge is the highest service of mankind’ inspired by this philosophy, SGT (Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary) University, one of the topmost private Universities in Haryana organized Synergy 2018, a multidisciplinary platform for catalyzing the growth of creativity, innovation and research from 10th to 12th October 2018.
The concept of Synergy 2018 was envisioned for the first time in the year 2017. Its aim was at synergizing young minds to be creative and innovative. The synergy provides an appropriate platform for the students to showcase their talent and innovative ideas for the betterment of the future. Students showcased their projects. The participating faculties were:- Ayurveda, Engineering, Agriculture, Medical, Dental, Pharmacy, Law, Fashion, Education, Allied Health Sciences, Physiotherapy, Behavioral Sciences, Nursing, Commerce, Physical Sciences, Hotel Management, Mass Communication.
Honorable Minister of State (Independent Charge), Ministry of Communication & Honorable Minister of State, Ministry of Railways, Shri Manoj Sinha as Chief Guest and Director and Chief Innovation Officer, National Innovation Foundation-India, an autonomous body of Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India, Dr.Vipin Kumar were the Guest of Honor graced on the inauguration ceremony of Synergy-2018.
Besides, encouraging & supporting its own students & Faculty for research and innovation, SGT University also reached out to various schools and colleges in Gurugram and Delhi-NCR for creating and upgrading their innovative skills. The University encourages and supports the promising projects and deserving students to make India proud.
Events such as these not only showcase upcoming talents and innovations but also the invincible human spirit which aims to fight against all kinds of adversities, natural or manmade, and emerge victorious in the game of life.
On a concluding day, Additional chief secretary to Government of Haryana, Home, jails, Criminal Investigation and Administration of Justice Department, Shri S. S. Prasad IAS (Haryana 1984) distributed prizes to the deserving participants in the presence of SGT University dignitaries, Directors, Deans, Faculty members and teachers from various schools.
SGT University is passionate about grooming the nation’s youth to grow into good human beings and excellent professionals destined to become torchbearers of their respective domains. Owing to its good work it has become one of the best private universities in Delhi NCR. SGTU conducts a platter of short duration skill enhancement and syllabus enrichment workshops related to areas of management specializations and emerging technologies.
