Students of Faculty of Hotel & Tourism Management win Runner’s Up Hospitality Champions Trophy at Ansal University’s Vatel School of Hotel & Tourism Management -2018 on April 27th

An annual inter college competition for hotel management colleges across Delhi NCR was conducted by  Ansal University’s Vatel School of Hotel & Tourism Management on April 27th. The various competitions included were Nestle Young Star Chef Competition in which chefs had to prepare dishes using Maggi Coconut Milk Powder, Maggi Makhni Base Gravy, Nestle Milkmaid, Nescafe Coffee and ‘California Walnut Rising Star’ Chef Competition in which participants had to prepare 2 course menu using California Walnuts. The two teams comprising of two students each chosen to represent FH&TM, SGTU included Jaspreet Singh, Akash Kanaujiya, Harshit Tandon and Atit Khadka.  Both the teams bagged the Runner’s Up Trophy  in both competitions as they dished out mouth watering delicacies called Chicken Cordon Bleu, Coffee & Condense Milk Panna Cotta, Risotto Nuggets, Devil on Horse Back and Green Apple Walnut Shrikhand. The teams were well appreciated for their innovation and presentation. The students garnered acclaim from the Judges for their gastronomic talents, and shared that such competitions, help young chefs prepare for the stress and challenge of international competition.
