Prof. (Dr.) Lakhwinder Singh, Dean, Faculty of Science, is a well-informed and experienced academician and researcher. After completing BSc from Panjab University, Chandigarh, he completed his MSc and Ph. D. in Applied Chemistry (Pharmaceuticals) from globally renowned Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. He also availed CSIR fellowship as Senior Research Fellow from 2005 to 2008 at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar.

He has achieved stars and added them to his career board. Dr. Singh has significantly contributed to the field of research, training, and consultancy in science. He is having extensive experience of 19 years. He had a golden pin on his board as he worked as a Quality Control Chemist at one of the world’s prominent organizations, Pfizer Limited, a prestigious pharmacy company. He has been bestowed with the Outstanding Faculty Award’s badge presented to him by the Hon’ble Chief Justice of Chennai at Venus International Contemporary Academic Meet (VICAM) 2016.

Apart from the contribution given in research, training, and consultancy in science, Dr. Singh has guided five Ph.D. students and ten Master’s Degree candidates to complete their research project. Moreover, he has earned five patents during his significant career. He is a highly talented and knowledgeable person in his sphere. Witnessing his achievements, there are more than 20 research papers published in various national and international journals of repute. Also, it has presented more than ten research papers in National, International conferences and seminars. He is on the Editorial Board of various reputed Chemistry Journals.

One of Dr. Singh’s highest-flying achievements is that he holds a lifetime membership in the American Chemical Society and Indian Council of Chemists. Besides, he is among those academicians who have started several new courses in the institutes he has previously worked with. Also, the organization of various FDP’s, STTPs, and other Skill and Personality Development Programs are done by him to offer an extended dimension to the students’ knowledge.
