Professor
Dr. Sanjay Kumar is a Professor in the Computer Science and Engineering Department at SGT University, Gurugram. He has 25 years of teaching experience, which includes 16.5 years of administration as well. Internet of Things, Machine Learning, Data Science, Ad-Hoc Networks, WSNs, Mobile Computing, Cloud Computing are some of his research interests.
Dr. Sanjay completed his Bachelor degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Maharshi Dayanand University Rohtak Haryana in 1999, Master degree in Computer Science and Engineering from JRN Rajasthan Vidyapeeth Udaipur in 2005 and from Maharshi Dayanand University Rohtak Haryana in 2016. He completed Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science and Engineering from Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science & Technology, Murthal (Sonepat) Haryana in 2014 in the area of Wireless Sensor Networks.
In addition to teaching he started his journey of administration in 2007, beginning with Head of department, Research Co-ordinator, Students Chief Co-ordinator, Associate Dean Students Welfare, Dean Students Welfare and Director of Alumni Association at various institutions. He Established NCC Unit (12 Haryana Bn.) and ‘Ankur’ – School for underprivileged children in his previous institution.
He is a life member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) and Computer Society of India (CSI). He authored the 01 book ‘C’ programming. He has published 50 research papers in prestigious International and National journals and conferences, including SCI/Scopus/WoS. There are 03 patents published under his name. He evaluates research papers for the Springer Journals, ScienceDirect Journals, UGC Journals, Conferences on Taylor & Francis, IEEE, Springer and ScienceDirect - referred conferences.
He has visited Providence University Taiwan with 26 Students for Summer Immersion program and Columbia University, USA for presenting a paper in the International conference in 2019.
He has organized International Conference on Wireless Intelligent and Distributed Environment for Communication (WIDECOM-2018) Springer in 2018 and International Conference on Computational Methods and Data Engineering (ICMDE 2020) Springer in 2020 .
