The Faculty of Behavioral Sciences (FBS) came into existence as an independent entity in 2014 in association with the Department of Clinical Psychology. M. Phil in Clinical Psychology was introduced in 2017 and approved by The Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). Professional Diploma in Clinical Psychology (RCI approved) was started from the academic session of 2019-20.

FBS has an advanced curriculum as per the National Educational Policy (NEP) guidelines. The Faculty also has an OPD facility in SGT Hospital. Clinical Psychology students are given numerous opportunities to outshine their talent and skills. The students are also given timely exposure to the industry by organising seminars, online webinars, workshops, and guest lectures.

Students and faculty members of the Faculty of Behavioral Sciences have been awarded various prestigious awards. Students are also engaged in various research programs worldwide and hold various campaigns in the nearby villages for community outreach. A faculty member was honoured with the ‘Iconic Award-2021’ by the Indian Academy of Health Psychology.

State-of-the-art Infrastructure in the Faculty of Behavioural Science

FBS has well-equipped laboratories consisting of various psych diagnostics tools, neuropsychological tools, personality assessments, intellectual functioning assessments and assessment of positive perspectives of human life.

FBS is also equipped with smart classrooms enabled with 60 inches of interactive panels and a well-stocked library consisting of books of modern publications. The university provides separate hostel arrangements for boys and girls and a hospital facility for their students.

Faculty members have also been contributing to the field of research and publication. More than 50 research articles were published in journals during the last academic session, including UGC listed, Scopus indexed, and peer-reviewed reputed journals.

The Faculty of Behavioral Sciences majorly focuses on providing their students with appropriate field knowledge to boost their confidence which will help them excel in their particular fields.
