Ms. Annu Yadav

Ms. Annu Yadav is an Assistant Professor at Faculty of Fashion and Design, SGT University, Gurugram. She obtained her Bachelors and Masters degree in Fabric and Apparel Science from Lady Irwin College, University of Delhi. She is now pursuing her PhD in Fashion and Design from SGT University, Gurugram. Along with this, she has also worked as an assistant merchandiser in Texlynx India buying house. She has participated in national and international conferences and seminars and published a book chapter on Indian Embroidery, Technical Textile Sources. Her area of interest includes fabric science, fashion retailing and merchandising, traditional textile and embroidery, technical textile, apparel and textile design and sustainable approach in textiles and fashion. She is also associated as a lifetime member of REST Society for Research International. Her research interest ranges from market research, revival and comparison of different traditional textiles, life cycle assessment and textile museum conservation.
