Apart from ever increasing business visits the hospitality sector provide services in social, cultural, religious and family functions or individual refuse, but also in organizing scientific or academic conferences, workshops, seminar, symposium, meetings, political interactions, media events, guest lectures, inauguration or valedictions. Thus one gets opportunity to involve in variety of activities which are challenging and requiring enormous professional skills to handle and make the event/s successful creating unforgettable memories for participants.

Well organized events will contribute by providing suitable environment to conclude the scientific, political or social congregation reaching at a logical conclusion which shall benefit the society at large.

The positive attitude and capability to understand others are the essential ingredient of hospitality services, it has been rightly said “there is no hospitality like understanding people”.


Therefore the University invites eminent achievers in the field of hospitality to organize workshops and hands on practice with free discussions with our students to make them aware of the best trends in hospitality practices.

For above purpose the Faculty of Hotel & Tourism Management regularly organizes events such as food festivals and theme lunches with the aim of adding value to the curriculum. A High Tea party aptly called “The Tea Room” was organized by the students of BHM where the students learnt about the Food & Beverage Service for High Tea and got to make some scrumptious goodies like Almond Muffins, Lemon Tarts, Banana Tea Cake, Corstini di Funghi and Cone Sandwiches on April 16, 2016. The guests were served a choice of Beverages like Assam Masala Tea, Earl Grey, Russian Tea, Green Tea, Jasmine tea, Coffee etc. The guests thoroughly enjoyed the experience and appreciated the display, the food and personalized service given by the students and all the efforts they had put in to make the occasion a huge success.
