Dr. Virendra Kumar is an academic and media professional with over four years of experience in teaching, research, and media production. He holds a Ph.D. in Journalism and Mass Communication from the Central University. His doctoral research focused on environmental communication, with a special emphasis on community awareness of contaminants and communication analysis in riverine ecology.
He has worked as a Research Associate, contributing to academic projects and field studies on media impact and communication strategies. Dr. Kumar specializes in media production and is skilled in video editing, visual storytelling, digital content creation, and newspaper design using Adobe InDesign. His academic contributions explore the role of social media, particularly Instagram, in promoting environmental awareness and supporting legislation such as the Environment Protection Act, 1986.
He has presented papers at national and international conferences and published research in UGC CARE–listed journals. With expertise in both practical media skills and academic research, Dr. Kumar aims to bridge the gap between theory and practice in the classroom.
