Guest Lecture on Research doesn’t Always Work The Way You Plan

Lavoisier’s Association, Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, SGT University has organized a Guest Lecture on “Research doesn’t Always Work The Way You Plan” on 5th October 2020 at 2:00 pm. When one talks about Science and Research, students usually get the idea that scientific investigations involve careful observation and analysis of data to test hypotheses. One thing that remains covered in the puzzle, nonetheless, is how researchers choose the specific inquiries they pose in any case. Just doing lots of practice problems will not necessarily make you a better problem solver. Our guest, Prof. Thavi Govender, Department of Chemistry, University of Zululand, South Africa, has thrown the light on how a researcher faces different difficulties and how you can clarify why and when you would make each progression in particular research areas. It was a great and learning session for all.
