Master Trainer Certificate Course on Neonatal Resuscitation Program

To update the knowledge and competencies of neonatal nurses with advanced and latest guidelines on Neonatal Resuscitation and create a pool of master trainers for Neonatal Resuscitation Program, the National Reference Simulation Centre (NRSC), SGT University on 5th February 2021, organized a one – day Master Trainer Certificate course on Neonatal Resuscitation Program.
The program was conducted in collaboration with Indian Association of Neonatal Nurses (IANN) and National Neonatology Forum India (NNF). The program was attended by 32 participants from various institutions including AIIMS Delhi, AIIMS Jodhpur, AIIMS Rishikesh, PGIMER Chandigarh, Kalawati Saran Children hospital New Delhi, GMCH -sector 32, Chandigarh, SGT University and MMU Ambala to name a few.
Participants were trained and certified by 5 expert doctors from the field of Neonatology, namely Dr. Sushma Nangia, Director, Professor and HOD of neonatology, Lady Harding Medical College and Kalawati Saran Children hospital, Dr. Sadhana Mehta Chief Project Coordinator, National Collaborative Centre for FBNC at Kalawati Saran Children Hospital, Dr. Ravi Sachan, Associate Professor, UCMS and GTB Hospital, Delhi, Dr. Kumar Ankur, Consultant -in-Charge, Deptt. Of neonatology, BLK Super Specialty hospital, Delhi and Dr. Srishty Goyal, Assistant Professor, Department of Neonatology, Lady Harding Medical College and Kalawati Saran Children Hopital. The program was graced by Prof.GL Khanna, Pro VC, SGT University, Dr. Jyoti Sarin, President IAAN and Dr. Manju Vatsa, Director, NRSC and Former President of Indian Association of Neonatal Nurses.
