Faculty of Physiotherapy on 3rd October 2020 conducted International webinar on “Benefits of exercise on Alzheimer’s disease: Gene transfer as a new therapeutic strategy”

Alzheimers disease is leading condition which require attention of medical people and awareness about the disease is to be imparted to the families fighting with it .every rear 21 September is celebrated as World Alzheimer’s day.

Dr. Stefan kelsacy, associate professor ,California state university, Los Angeles was the eminent speaker for the webinar.

Dr. Ezaj hussain, dean physiotherapy gave his views about the problems related to Alzheimer’s disease in India.

Dr. G. L. Khanna ,Pro V chancellor gave his inputs how different form of exercise can contribute in Alzheimer’s disease. Dr. stefan very elaborately discussed the history, pathophysiology and the research work they conducted in there lab on gene therapy and effects of exercise.

The session was attended by around 200 students and physio and was a very informative and illustrated session.
