One of the biggest colour-filled celebrations, the festival of Holi spreads joy, happiness and enthusiasm in our life and the students of SGT University truly enjoyed themselves to the fullest. The recently-organised Holi celebrations by SGT University, Phoolon ki Holi saw the campus covered in colourful flowers, dupattas and handmade decorations. The event conveyed the message of water conservation and an environmental friendly celebration of the festival. The event started with the lamp lighting by Ram Bahadur Rai, Chancellor of the university. The cultural program kicked off with an array of dance performances by the students. The first performance featured the life of Bal Krishna and all instances throughout his childhood. This was followed by dance features from each state including Bengal, Nepal, Arunachal Pradesh and Goa. The entire program was organised under the guidance of the chairperson, Madhupreet Kaur Chawla. “In the beautiful setting of spring, the campus of SGT University was embellished by our dear students to celebrate the traditional Phoolon Ki Holi, reflecting the true spirit of the festival.
