Dr. Preeti Arya

Dr Preeti Arya is a bioinformatician trained in biological sciences and bioinformatics. She has been awarded a doctorate degree in Biological Sciences from AcSIR, CSIR-Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology, Palampur, HP, India. She did her master of science in Bioinformatics from CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar. She has been awarded with several prestigious fellowships such as CSIR-UGC JRF/SRF (for pursuing Ph.D.), National Post-doctoral Fellowship (NPDF), and ICMR Research Associateship (for post-doctoral research). Her research work focuses on understanding the evolution and role of molecular soldiers involved in plant immunity and important findings have been published in several peer-reviewed SI journals. Her current research work focuses on investigating the role of microbiome in human diseases.
