Dr. Yogendra Kumar Awasthi is the Director–IIC and Director of Research (Engineering) at SGT University, Gurugram, Haryana. He completed his Doctorate in Microwave and mmWave Technology from the University of Delhi, New Delhi and possesses over 22 years of experience in academic and research administration. He has published more than 90 articles in peer-reviewed journals and conferences and he has also 15 Indian patents (Published and Granted) and also writing two books. His recent research interest includes Modeling of high-frequency passive/active microwave components, Microwave antenna for 5G/6G applications, Metamaterial absorber, Sensor & Cloaking, Study of picosecond transient pulses, RF Power Transfer & Energy Harvesting, MIMO receiver system, Electrical Power System, etc. He is an Editor-in-Chief in the renowned “MR International Journal of Engineering and Technology” and working as a reviewer of several refereed journals such as IEEE Antennas and Propagation Magazine, IET Microwaves, Antennas, Propagation, IET Electronic Letter, IEEE Access, IEEE Transactions on Antennas & Propagation. He has supervised 6 Ph.D. research scholars for award of degree. He has completed and working on various research funded projects sponsored by national (DST, ISRO etc.) and international (Valeo-Innovation) agencies. He has widely traveled India for research, teaching and consultancy assignments to universities and industries. He is committed to delivering quality research and innovation in Higher Education Institutions and has successfully implemented outcome-based research frameworks and various regulatory guidelines within institutions. He is member of various academic and professional bodies including IEEE, Antenna & Microwave Society, MTT, etc. He has been served/organized national and international conferences in the field of Electronics. He is being consulted by institutions for curriculum development, academic planning, and development of Microwave and mmWave components.
