Mr. Anand Kumar Choudhary

Mr. Anand Kumar Choudhary joined Faculty of Fashion and Design, SGT University Gurugram as Associate Professor in December 2021. His areas of expertise in teaching range from Pattern Making and Draping to Garment Construction and Design and Portfolio Development. He has 4 years of academic experience. Prior to SGT, he was leading the Fashion Design Department as HOD at Gyanarthi Media College affiliated to Kumaun University. He has close to 7 years of rich industry experience where he worked on developing womenswear range for Procuredge Fashions Pvt Ltd and MNS Design Pvt Ltd working with brands like Shein, Adler and N11. He has been responsible for developing artworks as a graphic designer for Cosmique Global, an export house and has done an internship under ace designer Samant Chauhan. Some of his professional accomplishments include being shortlisted for the National Design Talent Contest organized by the Fashion Design Council of India in association with the New Zealand Tourism Board in 2011 and 2012 where he got the opportunity to be one of the finalists in World of Wearable Art (WOW) in Montana, New Zealand. Additionally, his sportswear design was showcased in Hong Kong and Japan fashion week in the year 2011 under the flagship of AEPC (Apparel Export Promotion Council), India.
