At Radha Krishna Sang Phoolon ki Holi Fest, we celebrate Holi in an eco-friendly and natural way, at SGT University.

SGT University in Gurugram celebrated the festival of Holi with a unique and colorful event named “Radha Krishna Sang Phoolon Ki Holi“. The event showcased the diversity of Indian culture and was held amidst the vibrant colors of spring.

Participants at the event danced to the beats of various regional dances such as Gujarati, Haryanvi, Mizoram, Rajasthani, South Indian, and Brij dances. Rather than using conventional colors, the participants adorned themselves with fragrant flowers to celebrate the occasion.

The event was a true reflection of the Holi festival’s spirit of spreading joy, happiness, and enthusiasm. It also focused on environmental conservation, replacing traditional colors and water with the rich fragrance of marigolds.

The festivities commenced with a captivating welcome dance performance by the “Brajesh Basantam Navneet Chauram” troupe, setting the tone for a beautiful cultural fiesta.

Classical Holi Dance

Experience the captivating welcome dance performance by the gifted students of SGT University during the Radha Khrishna Sang Phoolon ki Holi event. Gujarati Dance

Rajasthani Dance

Next was the Rajasthani Dance. In Rajasthan, no Holi festivities are complete without the captivating melodies of Rajasthani Holi songs.

At SGT’s Phoolon ki Holi event, we celebrated the rich cultural heritage of Rajasthan through a performance of their traditional folk dance, also known as ‘Sapera Naach’, which was brilliantly executed by our students. It is worth mentioning that the Kalbelia dance and songs, which originate from Rajasthan, have earned a place on UNESCO’s prestigious list of “Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity”.

Mizoram Dance

Watch the enthralling bamboo (Cheraw) dance from Mizoram and embark on a journey to discover the splendor of the traditional bamboo dance from Northeast India. Our skilled students put in tremendous effort and coordination to present this dance form with elegance and proficiency. South Indian Dance

The students of SGT stole the show with the lively South Indian dance from Telangana. From Kathakali to Bharatnatyam to Kuchipudi, the dance forms of our Southern Regions exude a level of grace and sophistication that is unparalleled worldwide. Our talented students have skillfully captured the essence of this celebration in a beautiful video that showcases the finest South Indian Holi dance. Bollywood Dance

Maharashtrian Folk Dance

The Holi celebrations in Maharashtra are a sight to behold, characterized by lively and colorful Maharashtrian Holi songs and dances. One of the dances that stand out for its pulsating energy and vibrant movements is the Koli Dance, which tells the tale of the struggles of the Koli Community of Maharashtra. Our talented SGT students have breathed new life into this traditional dance form, infusing it with the necessary energy to take the festivities to new heights.

High-Spirited Korda Dance from Haryana

SGTians prepared a spectacular Haryanvi Holi dance performance that showcased the vibrant culture and traditions of the state. The video captures the spirit of the Haryana Holi celebration, complete with the playful whipping of the dupatta during Korda.

Celebrating Brij Ki Holi in Traditional Style

The Radha Krishna Holi celebrations and Lathmar Holi are fascinating to watch. The students of SGT University did an amazing job in bringing the spirit of Brij ki Holi to life through their performances. The graceful portrayal of the romantic love tales of Radha and Krishna left the audience in awe.

SGT University’s “Radha Krishna Sang Phoolon Ki Holi” was a true celebration of India’s artistic and cultural heritage, leaving everyone spellbound.
