Ms. Amita Bhati is Academic Associate in the Centre for Languages and Communication, Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University. She has completed her Masters and M.Phil in Linguistics from Jawaharlal Nehru University and she is currently pursuing PhD in English Language Teaching. She has 5 years of Academic experience. She is a member of English Language Teaching Association of India (ELTAI) and AINET Association of English Teachers (in short, AINET). She has been teaching Language, Linguistics and Communication Skills to UG students enrolled in Education, Special Education, Literature, Engineering, and Law. Her research interests include Applied Linguistics, Neuro-Linguistics, Approaches in Teaching English, ICT, World Englishes, Augmented and virtual realities, Games and gamification and History of English language Teaching in India. She has published papers in national and international journals. She has added various FDP’s, Conferences, and Workshops. She has edited a book titled “Educational Reforms in the Modern World – Volume 2 ” with ISBN: 978-81-962554-3-5 which is published on Amazon. She has delivered guest lectures on ‘Mindfulness’ and ‘Ethics in Research’ at K.R Mangalam University and Manav Rachna University respectively.
