Teach Meet-II: Classroom Experiences & Innovations was successfully conducted online on October 11, 2024, from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM. Organized by the Centre of Excellence for Andragogical and Pedagogical Sciences, this initiative continues to bring educators together in a collaborative space to share innovative teaching methodologies and real-world classroom experiences.
The session featured three distinguished speakers who presented diverse approaches to enhancing student engagement. Dr. Yogesh Mehta, Professor at FCAM, emphasized the power of small group activities in fostering interactive learning. He shared strategies on structuring these activities to ensure active participation and deeper understanding among students. Mr. Rohit Saroha, Assistant Professor at FHTM, discussed experiential learning, demonstrating how faculty can make the most of available resources. He illustrated ways to divide students into smaller groups to facilitate hands-on learning experiences, making concepts more tangible and memorable. Dr. Rajesh Poonia, Assistant Professor at FCAM, focused on classroom execution through effective questioning techniques. He demonstrated how well-crafted questions can stimulate critical thinking, sustain student engagement, and encourage active discussions.
This session reinforced the importance of innovative teaching methods in creating student-centered learning environments. Teach Meet is an ongoing initiative that provides a platform for faculty members to exchange ideas, share best practices, and continuously refine their teaching approaches.
