Teach Meet-III was held online on November 26, 2024, from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM, as part of the ongoing Teach Meet series, an initiative by the Centre of Excellence for Andragogical and Pedagogical Sciences. This platform brings educators together in an online space to share their teaching experiences, innovative strategies, and best practices, fostering a culture of continuous professional development.
The session featured three insightful speakers. Dr. Dinesh Deswal, HOD, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, shared his expertise on the flipped classroom methodology, emphasizing its role in enhancing student engagement and independent learning. Dr. Sonia Rathee, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Commerce and Management, discussed the value of out-of-classroom learning experiences, offering strategies to design and execute immersive educational activities beyond the traditional setting. Ms. Khiumajuliu Abonmai, PG Tutor, Faculty of Nursing, highlighted the outreach aspect of classroom learning, illustrating how real-world exposure can deepen student understanding and practical application of concepts.
Teach Meet-III successfully created a space for faculty members to exchange ideas, explore new pedagogical approaches, and refine their teaching methodologies. This initiative continues to strengthen the educator community, encouraging collaboration and innovation in teaching practices.
