Faculty of Dental Sciences

The Faculty of Dental Sciences, SGT University has carved a niche for itself among the Various prestigious Dental Schools of North India. The Faculty of Dental Sciences, SGTU provides a very sound platform for the students to sharpen their clinical skills, besides committing itself to provide state-of-the-art facilities for indoor and outdoor patients and health care services to the people in its abutting areas. The Outpatient Department of the Hospital receives a high no. of patients every day.  The Faculty is equipped with the modern facilities in its all the nine specialized departments where basic and advanced dental treatments and minor, major & complex surgeries are performed daily.  The Hospital runs a fleet of six buses for to and fro transport of the patients from the adjoining fifty villages at no cost to them.  Besides providing oral health screening services, the oral health care devices— toothbrushes, toothpaste, and medicines – are also distributed free of cost in many neighboring villages and schools. The Hospital provides 24×7 emergency services.

Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) 4 Years + 1 Year Internship
  • Age of 17 years or more on 31st December of the year of admission.
  • 10+2 pass from Board of School Education, Haryana or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto with at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together both in qualifying and competitive examinations and must have passed in the subject of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English individually in the qualifying examination.
  • NEET qualified
M.D.S. ( Periodontology) 3 Years Must have recognized degree of BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) with minimum 50% marks, awarded by Indian University or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Dental Council of India.
M.D.S. (Public Health Dentistry) 3 Years Must have recognized degree of BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) with minimum 50% marks, awarded by Indian University or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Dental Council of India.
M.D.S. (Oral Medicine and Radiology) 3 Years Must have recognized degree of BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) with minimum 50% marks, awarded by Indian University or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Dental Council of India.
M.D.S. Oral Pathology and Microbiology 3 Years Must have recognized degree of BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) with minimum 50% marks, awarded by Indian University or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Dental Council of India.
M.D.S. (Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery) 3 Years Must have recognized degree of BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) with minimum 50% marks, awarded by Indian University or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Dental Council of India.
M.D.S (Paediatric & Preventive Dentistry) 3 Years Must have recognized degree of BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) with minimum 50% marks, awarded by Indian University or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Dental Council of India.
M.D.S. ( Prosthodontics & Crown & Bridge ) 3 Years Must have recognized degree of BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) with minimum 50% marks, awarded by Indian University or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Dental Council of India.
