On 7 December, 2023, a special athletic meet was organized by the Faculty of Education, Department of Special Education and Education in collaboration with the Directorate of Sports, SGTU and Special Olympics Bharat, Haryana. The event was held to mark the International Day of People with Disability and to celebrate the achievements and abilities of differently-abled individuals. The event started at 08.00 AM and lasted till 02.00 PM at the university campus. More than 200 participants from various schools and colleges participated in various track and field events such as running, jumping, throwing and relay races. The event was a great success and witnessed enthusiastic participation from both the athletes and the spectators. The winners were awarded medals and certificates by the dignitaries present at the event. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by the Dean of the Faculty of Education, who thanked all the stakeholders for their support and cooperation.
