The Placement and Internship Fair AVASAR 2024, a pivotal event for career opportunities, unfolded at the School of Engineering and Technology, SGT University. Orchestrated by the dedicated team at the Training and Placement Cell FEAT, the fair commenced at 09:00 hours, on 28th June2024, gathering a diverse array of recruiters within a single venue. Engineering students from various disciplines eagerly registered, engaging with a multitude of technical and non-technical firms. The outcome was a resounding success, with numerous students securing job offers—a number that continues to grow.

Placement Fair Highlights:

In a vibrant showcase of professional prospects, more than 40 esteemed companies converged, presenting a spectrum of career paths. The event was graced by the presence of spirited students, poised at the threshold of their professional odysseys. A remarkable tally of over 65 students were bestowed with immediate placement and internship propositions, heralding the advent of their auspicious career trajectories. Complementing the day’s triumphs, seasoned industry connoisseurs dispensed pearls of wisdom through enlightening sessions, equipping the students with the acumen for navigating the corporate seas.

Training and Placement Lab Inauguration:

Mr. Sharad M Marathe, esteemed President and CEO of UTS (USA & INDIA), and Chairman of the AYUSH Ministry Task Force, as well as the Senior Industrial Advisor to AICTE, graced the inauguration of two new labs of our Training and Placement Cell. This pivotal initiative is committed to forging a seamless conduit between scholastic distinction and vocational prosperity. The cell is designed to furnish an all-encompassing suite of support, augmentative skill-building, and expansive networking conduits for our scholars.
These facilities are strategically established to prime our students for the technical challenges of placement drives, thereby enhancing their prospects of securing esteemed positions with competitive remuneration.

Inaugural Ceremony:

The ceremonial commencement of the AVASAR 2024 placement and internship fair signified a landmark in our dedication to fostering student achievement. The esteemed Mr. Sharad M Marathe, alongside distinguished industry leaders and recruiters, honoured the occasion with their presence, imparting valuable perspectives and narratives. The inaugural address by Mr. Marathe was a beacon, illuminating the path to novel prospects for our students. He straightaway offered projects to our students.
