About Indian Medical System (Ayurveda)

Ayurveda is a medical specialty which caters Preventive and Curative aspects of Health as a whole. Ayurveda system of medicine is having an age old heritage which survived the tests of time gracefully owing to its eternal Principles and Concepts. The system of medicine describes the well-being of an individual at physical, mental, social and spiritual levels through its eight branches popularly known as Ashtanga Ayurveda.

The Faculty of Indian Medical System, SGT University, was established in the year 2015 with an intake capacity of 100 seats, admission to which is through counselling conducted by Shri Krishna AYUSH University, Kurukshetra, Haryana.

The College is attached to a teaching hospital of a strength of 100 beds which offers exceptional healthcare facilities including Panchakarma procedures, Classical Ayurveda therapies like Ksharsutra, Agnikarma, Snehan, Swedan, Raktmokshan etc.
