SGT University organized a one-day special plantation drive on 17th September 2024 under the campaign "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam", launched by the Hon’ble Prime Minister on World Environment Day, June 5, 2024, to reiterate the significance of this initiative, which calls for planting trees as a tribute to mothers and to promote environmental conservation across the country. Along with University dignitaries, the students of B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture and horticulture staff of SGTU actively participated in the event, contributing to the enhancement of the local green cover.
