Dr. Priyanka

Dr. Priyanka is an Assistant Professor of Genetics and Plant Breeding at SGT University. She completed her Ph.D. from CSK Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Palampur. She has qualified ASRB-NET twice and was a recipient of the DST-INSPIRE Fellowship during her doctoral programme. She has undergone advanced training at ICAR institutes including IARI and has international exposure as a Research Visiting Scholar at South Dakota State University, USA. Her academic contributions include 10 research papers, 2 book chapters, and 2 popular articles. Her work focuses on crop improvement and molecular breeding with emphasis on disease resistance in wheat.
