Dr. Priyanka, currently working as Assistant professor of Genetics and Plant Breeding in F/o Agricultural Sciences, SGT University. She obtained her Ph.D. from Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Himachal Pradesh in the field of Genetics and Plant Breeding. She qualified ASRB NET in 2021 & 2023 and also achieved DST-INSPIRE fellowship during her doctoral programme. She has attended two national trainings at IARI, New Delhi and one international training as research visiting scholar at South Dakota State University, USA; attended 2 International Conferences and got best poster presentation award in 3rd International conference on “Global initiative in agricultural, forestry and applied sciences for food security, environment safety and sustainable development (GIAFAS-2021)” at Shri Guru Ram Rai University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. She has published 06 research papers, 02 book chapters and 02 online articles in various national and international journals, also got best article award for the same.
