Dr. Vivek Kumar Jha
Professor and Head

Dr. Vivek Kumar Jha is currently a Professor in the Department of
Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology, Faculty of Allied Health
Sciences, Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University, Gurugram,
Haryana, India. An accomplished academic scholar, he completed his
B.S.L.H.S. at Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research
(Deemed to be University), Chennai; M.A.S.L.P. at Osmania University,
Hyderabad; M.A. (Clinical Psychology) at IGNOU, New Delhi; and Ph.D. at
Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University, Gurugram, Haryana.
Dr. Jha has an extensive portfolio of expertise, with numerous projects
and publications to his credit. He boasts an exemplary track record in
renowned academic institutions and actively contributes to teaching,
research, administration, and advancing the fields of Audiology, Speech-
Language Pathology, Clinical Psychology, and Special Education.
He has delivered keynote addresses, chaired sessions at various national
and international conferences and seminars, participated in panel
discussions, and made significant contributions to academic programs
through his insights and expertise.
Before joining SGT University, Dr. Vivek Kumar Jha held several key
positions, including Head of the Rehabilitation Unit of Speech and
Hearing, Department of ENT, Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences,
Swami Rama Himalayan University, Dehradun; Principal at R.P. Institute
of Speech and Audiology, Karnal, Haryana; and Principal at the
Department of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology, Sumandeep
Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Vadodara, Gujarat.
He is a founding member of several speech and hearing institutes, as well
as special education institutes, in northern India. He is a life member of
the Indian Speech and Hearing Association (ISHA), DISHA, and TASLPA.
Dr. Jha has authored several books for students in the fields of speech
and hearing, clinical psychology, special education, medical sciences, and
paramedical sciences. Additionally, he has made significant contributions
to research and practice as an editor for various reputed journals.
