Foundation Module for Faculty of Law and Behavioural Sciences

The workshops, organized by CEAPS, focused on enhancing teaching practices for faculty members from the Faculty of Behavioural Sciences and the Faculty of Law on 8th -9th February 2024. Over the course of two days, participants engaged in discussions, activities, and presentations aimed at exploring effective pedagogic methods and their application in higher education settings. Breakout sessions were conducted to facilitate discussions among participants, allowing them to share their experiences and insights on adult learning principles in their respective disciplines. Interactive workshops were held on active learning techniques, technology integration, and differentiated instruction, tailored to the unique needs of faculty members in behavioural sciences and law.

The session, led by Ms. Monika Sharma, aimed to explore pedagogic methods with a specific focus on the essentials of adult education. By leveraging principles from adult education, faculty members could enhance their teaching practices and create more effective learning experiences for adult learners.Ms Arvinder Kaur Pabla highlighted the importance of building rapport with learners and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. Participants brainstormed practical approaches for adapting teaching methods and materials to better meet the needs of individual learners.
