Faculty of applied and basic sciences in collaboration with CEAPS organised a FDP on Holistic Approach to Student Success on 24th June to 29th June 2024 for the benefit of faculty members in all disciplines, as it addressed the vital aspects of Strengthening Pedagogical Practices, Upholding Ethical Conduct and Supporting Student Wellbeing. This enriching program brought together a diverse group of speakers from across India and various academic domains. Their expertise provided a truly holistic view of student development, offering a 360-degree perspective on nurturing our students' success. Prof. Indu Sharma, JIMS, discussing how to integrate physical, emotional, social, and ethical development into education. Prof. Sampadananda Mishra, Rishihood University explored the exciting synergy between the Indian Knowledge System and NEP 2020. Mr. Puneet Kaushik, Industrialist sparked discussions on balancing environmental preservation with student prosperity. Prof. Neeru Rathi, MSIT explored outcome-based learning for real-world readiness, while Ms. Monika Sharma, shared insights on effective delivery and teacher-student dynamics. Dr. Suresh Kumar, Delhi University emphasized the importance of ethics and social responsibilities in education. Dr. Neha Sharma focused on innovative pedagogies for student engagement, highlighting active learning and technology integration. Dr. Anurag Gaur, NSUT discussed NEP 2020's role in enhancing employability through multidisciplinary education. Ms. Kumud Arora CRF, IIT emphasized the importance of advanced research infrastructure for scientific innovation. Prof. Anurag Sharma, IIT Delhi spoke about building strong student relationships. Dr. Mukesh Jewariya, NPL discussed time management and stress reduction techniques, while Dr. Kuntal, University of Delhi highlighted incorporating modern tech tools in learning. Dr. Poonam Talwar wrapped up the week by discussing differentiated instruction for diverse learners. Dr. Dinesh Bhatia NEHU, Shillong emphasized the importance of continuous professional development in the digital era, and Prof. Rishi Pal, Shri Vishwakarma Skill university advocated for holistic student development.
