Dr. Sandeep Sharma has been serving as an Assistant Professor & Associate Dean in the Department of Special Education, Faculty of Education, at SGT University, Gurugram, since December 2021, with over eight years of experience in the field. He has published multidisciplinary research papers in SCOPUS and UGC CARE-listed journals and authored several books related to the curriculum for D.Ed. and B.Ed. Special Education programs. Dr. Sharma holds a Diploma in Special Education, a B.Ed. in Special Education, and a master’s degree in the field of hearing impairment from esteemed institutions such as AYJNISHD (D), Mumbai. He recently completed his Ph.D. from Baba Mastnath University, Rohtak, Haryana. His teaching interests include creating inclusive classrooms with a focus on interactive pedagogies, while his research centers on the inclusion of learners with special needs, the societal impact of hearing impairment, individualized education programs, and curriculum adaptation and development.
