The Faculty of Engineering & Technology (FEAT) is one of the well-equipped faculties at SGT University, Gurugram. It provides the students with understanding and skills in their specific fields and prepares them to shine in their respective professions.
FEAT is ranked 4th in India by The Times Engineering Survey conducted by The Times of India. It comprises Civil Engineering (CE), Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), and Applied Sciences & Humanities departments.
The Faculty stimulates and organises classroom experiences to enhance the skills and knowledge of their students. The Faculty was set up in 2015 to make the students highly competent and professional in the field of Engineering & Technology.
State-of-the-art Infrastructure in the Faculty of Engineering & Technology
The Faculty of Engineering and Technology, SGT University, Gurugram, has a modern infrastructure, well-equipped library, lecture halls, centre of excellence labs, and conference halls.
The classrooms are well ventilated and provided with air conditioners, comfortable furniture, and projectors. The facility of Wi-Fi, along with a 60-inch interactive panel, is also present inside the classrooms.
The Faculty also has Electro-Pneumatic & Hydraulic System Lab, Robotics & Automation Lab, IOS Lab, Wind Tunnel Lab, CNC Machining Lab, Manipulator & Turbo Machine Lab, Engine Testing Lab, etc.
Many of the laboratories in the Faculty have been established in collaboration with the industry. The latest industrial software used by the industry, such as STAAD Pro, ANSYS, MATLAB & SIMULINK, EPA, QGIS, SPSS, SOLID WORKS, AUTOCAD, hammer, water GEMS and sewer GEMS is available in computer labs.
Faculty also gives the students practical experience on various tools they will use in their careers. The computer lab has been recently upgraded to a very high powered workstation.
