Dr. Surabhi Singh
Assistant Professor

Dr. Surabhi Singh is currently working as an Assistant professor at SGT University. Earlier she taught at OP Jindal University Raigarh. She did her PhD at the Centre for European Studies in the School of International Studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Her research is on the Role of Civil Society in the Nordics: Study of Norway and Sweden. She has submitted her M.Phil. on Gender Empowerment in the European Union Development Policy. She has completed her Master’s degree from the Centre for Political Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University and her Bachelor’s Degree from Miranda House Delhi University, Delhi. She has already published papers in the field of migration, and civil society in the Nordic region. She participated in the University of California, Berkley on European Transoceanic Encounters Network on the theme “The Global Governance of Europe’s Transoceanic Encounters’’. She also participated in the Nordic Summer School in 2021 by Jean Monnet Module on understanding European Integration through the Regional lens and workshop on Eurasian insights: strengthening Indo-Pacific studies in Europe. The project was coordinated by the University of Warsaw.
