Library & Information Center

SGT University’s fully air-conditioned Library & Information Centre spans 41,740 sq. ft. and accommodates up to 1,000 users. Designed for comfort with ample space and natural lighting, it features modern facilities including a digital library, online databases, books, journals, theses, All India Reports, and WHO publications. The library is automated using the globally recognized KOHA software.

E-resources are accessible inside campus and remotely through the digital library with the link sgtuniversity.knimbus.com and mLibrary mobile app. The library holds Shodhganga membership, enabling the inclusion of doctoral theses in the national repository after plagiarism checks via IQAC, promoting quality and original research. It also subscribes to key digital resource databases for the use of research scholars-ProQuest-Medline Complete and e-Books Central, DELNET, J-Gate Complete, IEEE Xplore, SCOPUS, SCC Online, Sage Online, Quintessence, and Ex-Pharma Series.

Digital Library

The digital library consists of e-resources on a variety of subjects such as Medical Sciences, Dental Sciences, Allied Health Sciences, Management, Engineering, Computer Sciences, etc. Besides, more than 37000+ online e-journals and 10000+ e-books are subscribed to by the library, which can be accessed round-the-clock from any node linked to the university network and library, providing remote access to digital resources to the users 24x7 through the digital library service on sgtuniversity.knimbus.com, accessible from any device on the university network. Users must sign up with their details.

Access to library databases 24x7 via the Knimbus Portal for both on-campus and off-campus users.

2. Library Mobile App

3. Library Membership

Students and faculty can register by submitting a form signed by their Dean and presenting a valid SGTU ID card.

4. Circulation Service

Issue and return books between 9 A.M. – 5 P.M. Reference books are available during all working hours for reading.

5. OPAC Service

Online Public Access Catalogue allows users to check availability and access library databases easily.

6. Current Awareness Service

Get regular updates about newly received books, journals, and materials in the library.

7. Plagiarism Check

Turnitin and iThenticate plagiarism check for researchers. Email your request to [email protected].

9. Internet Access

High-speed LAN and Wi-Fi services are available for users within the library premises.
