Dr. Raghavendran Venugopal is an experienced academic administrator with a demonstrated history of working in the education industry. He brings with him over 22 years of experience in teaching, research, and administration, consistently contributing to excellence in education, training, strategic planning, accreditations, institutional governance, and more.

Prior to joining SGT University, Dr. Venugopal held various leadership roles across prestigious institutions. He served as the Director of Academics and Examinations at Galgotias University and held key roles such as Controller of Examinations and Additional/Joint Registrar (I/c) at Adani University, Bennett University, MIT-WPU, JSS STU, and VTU - Karnataka. He has significantly strengthened and streamlined academic, administrative, and examination processes in all his roles.

He has played a key role in implementing ISO standards in administrative and examination processes. A visionary in digital transformation, Dr. Venugopal led a state-level team in Karnataka to implement Digital Examinations across public and private universities. He was recognized as the Chief Innovation Officer by the Department of Science & Technology from 2011 to 2013.
