The MSc. (Ag.) Horticulture in Floriculture and Landscaping is a two-year full-time postgraduate programme offered by Faculty of Agricultural Sciences (FASC), SGT University. The programme is designed to equip students with advanced knowledge and practical skills in ornamental horticulture, flower crop production, landscape design, nursery technology, and protected cultivation systems. This course benefits students aiming to build careers in commercial floriculture, landscaping and garden design, nursery management, protected ornamental production, and research and extension services in ornamental crops. The programme combines classroom learning, hands-on field experience, and exposure to modern floriculture and landscape tools. Students learn advanced production practices for cut and loose flowers, interiorscaping, planting design, turf management, plant propagation, and value addition in floral crops. Training also covers CAD-based landscape planning, nursery entrepreneurship, and sustainable ornamental horticulture.
