Dr. G. B. Bhatt is a National Eligibility Test (NET) and State Level Eligibility Test (SLET) qualified academician and Public health nutrition researcher with 7.5 years of experience. He did his Ph.D.in Human Nutrition with national red fellowship award from GBPUAT, UK and post graduate degree in Nutrition from SHUATS with ICAR-Junior Research fellowship award.
Before joining SGT University, Dr. G. B. Bhatt was engaged as a Scientist at Indian Council of Medical Research, New Delhi. While working with an apex biomedical research institute of the government of India, he has played a crucial role in research administration. He is extremely sincere and dedicated towards his work and has a vast experience of research in the field of Human Nutrition. His areas of interest are child nutrition, adolescent nutrition, maternal nutrition and tribal nutrition.
He has been guiding students pursuing Master’s and Doctorate degree in Nutrition and also has played a crucial role in academic growth and development of the institute. He was recipient of SGT University felicitating award (Academic session 2018-19) for his meticulous contribution towards developing and escalating university to greater heights.
