Dr. Sakshi Sharma has joined SGT University as Assistant Professor in the Department of Microbiology of School of Allied Health Sciences. She did her master’s degree in Microbiology from University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. Dr. Sharma was awarded doctorate degree by University of Rajasthan, Jaipur in 2021. The title of her thesis was “Microbial Degradation and Decomposition of Degradable and Non-degradable Polyethylene”. She had also completed a DST student project on “Improvement in Growth and Salinity Tolerance in Some Crop Plants by the Application of Bacterial Species”. She had also worked in a research project entitled “In vivo and in vitro Studies of NaCl Effect Germinated Soybean (Glycine max L.) “in DRDO, Jodhpur. She has more than seven years of research experience. The findings of her research work are published in various indexed International/National Journals.
