The School of Commerce & Management (FCAM), SGT University, successfully organized its Induction & Orientation Program – Deeksharambh 2025, welcoming the new batch of students with a blend of inspiring addresses, industry insights, and engaging activities.

The program commenced with an inaugural address by Prof. (Dr.) Hemant Verma, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, who encouraged students to pursue academic excellence, personal growth, and ethical values. His words highlighted the supportive ecosystem of SGT University, motivating students to begin their journey with confidence and curiosity.

The week featured impactful sessions by eminent speakers. Mr. Abhineet Sood, Deputy Director at PepsiCo, delivered an insightful lecture on AI, automation, and process transformation, urging students to embrace emerging technologies and future-ready skills. Mr. Vikas Nain, Co-Founder of THE TRIAD, introduced the concept of Aura Farming, focusing on personal branding and energy management in the digital age. Adding to the inspiration, Ms. Priyanshi Dhingra, alumna and Director of PROS Healthcare Services, shared her entrepreneurial journey, encouraging students to persevere and innovate.

Students also engaged in various sessions such as academic orientations, anti-ragging and library briefings, workshops on self-awareness, career and placement sessions, sessions on global opportunities, sustainability, ERP, inclusivity, and mindfulness, etc. A special highlight was the Calm Spaces session by CEAPS, promoting balance and well-being. The Student Welfare Team further inspired students by introducing them to various clubs and platforms to nurture creativity and leadership. These sessions were efficiently coordinated under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Chand Saini, Officiating Dean, FCAM, and his team.

Deeksharambh 2025 set the tone for a vibrant year of learning, growth, and innovation, preparing the Batch of 2025 for success at FCAM and beyond.
