Dr. Sanjeev Kumar has an experience of more than 25 years in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. An alumnus of Dr. R. Ahmed Dental College at Kolkata, Dr. Sanjeev completed his M.D.S. from Govt Dental College at Ahmedabad in 1991. He further refined his skills at U.K, where the Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians, Glasgow awarded him the FDSRCPS. He has also been awarded the Fellowship of Indian Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in 2008. Dr. Sanjeev has previously worked at SDM College of Dental Sciences at Dharwad for 6 years. During his tenure in U.K., he worked at Canniesburn Hospital, Falkirk and District Royal Infirmary and Salisbury District Hospital. He was the Professor and Head at Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Subharti Dental College and Hospital between 1999 and 2012. Later he served as Professor and Head at Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at ITS Centre for Dental Studies and Research, at Muradnagar until March 2020. Currently, he is heading the department of Oral & Maxillofacial surgery at FDSC, SGT University. He is an accredited surgeon with the Smile Train organization and is associated with the Nav Muskaan project at SGT University. He was the founder President of Delhi Chapter of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of India and is an invited faculty at various conferences, all over India. His special interests are in the fields of Maxillofacial trauma, Temporomandibular Joint Surgery, Clefts, Orthognathic surgery and Reconstructive jaw surgeries. Dr. Sanjeev is a member of AOMSI since past 13 years. He is also a member of the Academy of Oral Implantology. A versatile author and academician, Dr. Sanjeev has almost 100 publications in International and National Journals to his credit.
