Awards (International/National)-

An undergraduate & postgraduate alumnus from Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Manipal, Manipal University from 1999 to 2008 and ex faculty for over 2 yrs at same Institution, I am involved in teaching & research of dental undergraduate, postgraduate students and PhD scholars at academic as well clinical levels presently at SGT University. The departmental activities also include organizing dental camps, providing basic and comprehensive dental care facilities to the community residing in out-reach areas, as well as oral health care needs of the special groups of population. I am presently heading the Department of Public Health Dentistry and working as Associate Dean at the faculty level and am involved as member at SGT University level bodies namely Academic Council, IQAC, NAAC – Steering Committee, Bioethics Chair, Social Responsibility and many routinely constituted annual committees. I have been appointed as external examiner for Public Health Dentistry, at Undergraduate, Postgraduate & PhD level by the various health universities across India, especially in National Capital Region & North India. I have been involved in Public Health and especially Dental Public Health related endeavours at the Indian Association of Public Health Dentistry and my most recent ongoing engagement has been as a National Steering Group Member to the National Oral Health Program, Ministry of Family & Health Welfare, Government of India.
