Dr. Vinod Kumar is Assistant Professor in CSE Department, School of Engineering & Technology at SGT University, Gurugram. He is a distinguished academician with over fourteen years of teaching experience in Computer Science & Engineering and two year industry experience. He has published ten research papers in national and international conferences and guided several undergraduates, post-graduate research works.

He has completed Master in Technology from Guru Gobind Singh University, Delhi and BE from Maharishi Dayanand University. He worked as Assistant Professor and HOD in St. Margaret Engineering College, Neemrana, and worked as Assistant Professor in Computer Science & Engineering Department of Dronacharya College of Engineering. He also worked in Revitasoft Informatics Pvt. Ltd. Industry as Software Engineer.

His primary research interests are in the areas of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), cloud computing, network security and protocol. He also worked as Head of Department, Training and Placement Coordinator, Spoken Tutorial Coordinator, Examination Cell Coordinator, Disciplinary Committee Coordinator, Developed and supervised various laboratory activities for computer science courses.
