SGT Naturopathy and Yoga Hospital organized an awareness and free medical health check-up camp in The Heartsong Society, Sector 108, Gurugram

A free medical health check-up camp was held at The Heartsong Society in Sector 108, Gurugram, on October 16, 2022 (Sunday), as part of the School of Naturopathy and Yogic Science’s outreach initiatives.

First, second, and third-year BNYS students participated in the camp in a significant way. A group of medical professionals, including Dr. Drishti (Resident Medical Officer) and Dr. Alok (Assistant Medical Officer), performed a free physical examination and took blood pressure readings, among other things. The camp participants were given demonstrations of various Naturopathic and Yogic therapies, such as reflexology, acupuncture, dietary modifications, etc., that are used in Nature Cure Treatments. 80 individuals from the community and the surrounding areas visited the camp for their health screenings in total.

The camp’s response surpassed all expectations. All patients received a thorough evaluation, including a blood pressure analysis and Naturopathy and Yoga services, which included prescriptions for therapeutic yoga, advice on posture correction, and modalities as required. The SGT Naturopathy and Yoga Hospital was recommended to patients who required medical attention. The main objective of the camp was to increase public awareness of the value of yoga and naturopathy in the prevention and treatment of various illnesses.
