Dr. Chippy G Krishnan is currently serving as Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law, SGT University, and holds a Ph.D. from the University School of Law & Legal Studies, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. She earned her LL.M. in Constitutional Law and Criminal Law from the School of Legal Studies, Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kerala, and completed her integrated BA.LL.B. from Government Law College, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala University. Dr. Krishnan qualified for UGC NET in 2015 and brings valuable professional experience combining 1 year of industrial experience with 10.5 years of distinguished teaching experience in legal education.
Dr. Krishnan has an extensive portfolio of scholarly activities, having actively participated in and organized Faculty Development Programmes, seminars, conferences, and workshops while presenting research papers at numerous national and international forums. She has published extensively in UGC Care List journals and edited books, and serves as Co-Editor of SGT University Law Journal. Her leadership in academia is evident through her roles as session chair at national seminars and resource person for expert talks and certificate courses conducted by State Universities. Her research interests encompass Constitutional Law, Human Rights, and Criminal Law, fields in which she continues to contribute through teaching, research, and scholarly publications.
