Synergy 2024: SGT University’s International Tech Fest – A Grand Success in Innovation & Collaboration

Introduction

SGT University's 7th edition of Synergy, an annual international tech fest, concluded today after three days of innovation, competition, and collaboration. The event, held from October 16-18 at the university's Gurugram campus, brought together thousands of students from across Delhi-NCR, showcasing groundbreaking projects and fostering creativity among young minds.


 

Day 1: A Grand Inauguration

The fest kicked off on October 16 with an official inaugural ceremony attended by esteemed industry leaders. Notable guests included:


 

  • Shri K. Raja Bhanu, Director General of Pharmexcil
  • Mr. Pranshuman Roy, Global Director, Kyndryl
  • Mr. Prashant Tandon, CEO of Tata 1mg


 

Prof. (Dr.) Atul Nasa, Pro Vice Chancellor of SGT University and Chairman of Synergy 2024, expressed his excitement, stating, "Synergy Tech Fest is a shining example of SGT University's dedication to excellence in education and research. It has grown into a premier platform that nurtures creativity, promotes multidisciplinary research, and encourages innovation among our talented students, as well as those from the Delhi NCR region."


 

Three Days of Innovation and Competition

Throughout the event, over 22,000 students engaged in various activities:

  • Guest of Honour: Mrs. Harleen Kaur, Special Secretary to Hon'ble LG at Raj Nivas, Delhi
  • Healthcare: VertiGaze Integrated Educational Model (Physiotherapy)
  • Future Tech and Innovation: Wireless Charging Station (Engineering)
  • Natural Resources and Sustainability: Fabrication of Electrolyser for Hydrogen Production (Engineering)
  • Societal Development: Preventing and Addressing Cyberbullying (Law)
  • RP Memorial Sr. Sec School, Uttam Nagar, Delhi (Rs. 30,000 prize)
  • KG Sr. Sec. School, Gurugram (Rs. 24,000 prize)
  • Gian Mandir Public School, Naraina Vihar, New Delhi (Rs. 15,000 prize)
