Inspiration Unleashed: Charting a Course for Academic Excellence at SGT University

On March 7th, 2025, SGT University witnessed an inspiring academic discourse that ignited minds and set a strategic roadmap for future excellence. Under the theme "Inspiration Unleashed," Prof. Amiya Kumar Rath, Hon'ble Vice Chancellor of Biju Pattanaik University of Technology, Odisha, delivered a compelling talk titled, "Strategic Roadmap for Academic and Administrative Excellence: Benchmarking SGT University’s Progress and Future Directions."


 

Prof. Rath, a distinguished educationist, researcher, author, mentor, and polyglot, brought a wealth of experience to the table. Having served as the Adviser (ICT) at the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Bangalore, India, his insights were both profound and practical.


 

"Academics must be forward-thinking, anticipating the needs of future generations," Prof. Rath emphasized, encapsulating the essence of his presentation. His talk delved into critical areas essential for institutional growth, including:

  • Assessing Institutional Growth: Understanding the current landscape and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Quality Enhancement Framework: Implementing robust mechanisms to ensure continuous quality enhancement.

The audience was captivated by Prof. Rath's vast knowledge and his ability to translate complex concepts into actionable strategies. His insights resonated deeply, offering a clear vision for SGT University's future trajectory. Adding to the event's success, our state-of-the-art National Reference Simulation Centre (NRSC) and Electric Vehicle Lab (Powered by Electric One Mobility Pvt. Ltd.) received high praise.
