Clearing class 12, that too with distinction, is a significant milestone for any Indian student. It gives them and their families unbound joy, as it represents the first successful step taken towards a successful career journey. To recognise the achievements of such young scholars, SGT University and Dainik Jagran organised an extremely special “Felicitation Ceremony 2025” to honour 300+ students who had scored 70% and above in their recently held 12th CBSE and Haryana Board exams.

The chief guest for this occasion was Mr Vikas Arora, Commissioner of Police, Gurugram. The university also welcomed other leaders like Dr Rajesh Mohan, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Gurugram; Priyanshu Diwan, ACP, Crime Branch, Gurugram; and Aditya Raj, Bureau Chief, Dainik Jagran, Gurugram, who also added significant prestige to the occasion.

The ceremony began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by a warm welcome address by Dr Hemant Verma, Vice Chancellor of SGT University, who praised the determination of the students and gave them wisdom on the importance of choosing the right career. “This achievement is not the end; it’s just a milestone. As you go ahead in life, there will be pressure, doubt, and failure. But if you carry the same determination that brought you here today, then no dream is too big.”

Chief Guest Shri Vikas Arora also shared inspiring words with the students. He said, “Have faith in yourself, join the path of spirituality, follow your role models, and with determination, you can achieve anything in life.”

The ceremony concluded with the distribution of trophies and certificates to each student. Additionally, after the event, students got to interact and participate in career guidance sessions with SGT University’s expert counsellors, who helped students identify their strengths and explore future opportunities.

Through this initiative, SGT University once again displayed a stellar commitment to academic excellence, holistic development, and student-centric support, setting itself apart as a nurturing ground for future leaders.
