Education is the foundation of transformation, says VC at Deeksharambh 2025

The five-day orientation programme Deeksharambh 2025 commenced today at School of Mass Communication & Media Technology, SGT University with an inspiring inaugural session. The event marked the beginning of an academic journey for the new batch of students, aimed at familiarizing them with the ethos, vision, and opportunities of the university.

Addressing the gathering, the Vice-Chancellor encouraged the students to embrace learning with passion and discipline, highlighting that “Education is the foundation of transformation, and every student must use this opportunity to grow not just academically, but also personally and socially.” His words set the tone for an enriching week ahead.

The first day also witnessed the introduction of faculty members, where professors shared insights into their respective domains, academic practices, and future opportunities. The interaction helped students connect with their mentors and understand the diverse disciplines offered at the university.

The session concluded on an optimistic note, with students feeling motivated, welcomed, and eager to explore the academic, cultural, and professional avenues awaiting them in the coming years.
